Just thinking

Publius Terentius, a Roman poet and playwright in the 2nd century B.C., once said that since he was a human being nothing human was alien to him: "Homo sum; humani nil a me alienum puto" (Heauton Timoroumenos, 25). No matter which language we speak, which ethnic group we belong to, which system of belief we adhere to, all of us have similar human challenges in our lives. What we laugh and cry about, what hurts us or makes us happy and excited, isn't all that different.

And often we sit in our little corner thinking it does not matter at all, we are of no importance, forgetting that all these little corners together make up the big universe we are part of. This then is my little corner in, at least, the virtual universe where I will note down what makes me think, what I laugh or worry about, what has meaning to me. If any of it interests you, have a look and enjoy!
